A true highlight of finding success as a company is being invited to participate in programs that empower individuals to pursue their passions, recognize their limitless potential and realize their own dreams.
Last week, members of Nettxio’s US and Kosovo teams attended a graduation ceremony for 20 students who took part in the Global Engineer Girls mentorship program in Kosovo.
Global Engineer Girls was founded by Ebru Özdemir, Chairperson of Limak Group of Companies, with a mission of facilitating opportunities and encouraging young women to pursue careers in STEM-related fields. The program focuses on growing the number of female engineers, increasing their impact and influence by equipping them with the necessary technical and soft skills to reach the highest levels and to close gender pay gaps.
Through partnerships with international and local organizations and educational institutions, GEG is making strides toward its stated goal of creating a global circle of sisterhood of resilient women with brilliant minds and compassionate hearts who have secured educational and financial independence for themselves.
Beyond impressing with their advanced technical knowledge, Nettxio’s 3 Global Engineer Girls interns enriched our team with fresh perspectives, contagious enthusiasm and an exceptional level of dedication and professionalism that has left a positive impact on our team dynamics.
